Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
AppExpress operates a public ranking board and a website building service. Both are paid with the same bid, and both are described below in plain language.
The rules, in short
Everything below is what the product actually enforces. The Terms further down say the same things in the language a contract needs; if the two ever disagree, the Terms are what binds and you should tell us so we can fix this page.
What one payment buys
- A place on the public board, and, if you described a business instead of pasting a link, a website built and put online. The same payment does both. There is no separate build fee, and nothing is charged that you were not shown before you paid it.
- Whole units of your own currency (US dollars, euros, pounds or Swiss francs), with a minimum of one, and at most the equivalent of $50,000 per payment. The page quotes the currency of the country you are in, and you can change it.
- The board is counted in US dollars. A payment in another currency is credited at the European Central Bank's reference rate on the day you pay, so one euro counts for what one euro is worth, no more and no less. Payments add up: your rank is everything you have ever paid on that listing, and it does not expire.
- Every change you ask for later is also a payment, so it pays for the work and raises your rank.
How ranking works
- Rank is your running total, highest first. Nothing else moves it: not clicks, not age, not who you are.
- Equal totals stay in the order they were reached. Whoever got there first keeps the better rank, so paying exactly what someone else paid never passes them.
- Passing someone therefore costs at least the current minimum more than their total.
- An unlisted site holds no rank at all. The board is public by definition; leaving it means leaving the ranking.
What you can list
- A product or business website, or a description of a business for us to build.
- No sexual content, no chat and invite links, no link shorteners, no affiliate or tracking parameters, since query strings are stripped from what we store and from where clicks go.
- Nothing built to deceive. No scams or fraudulent claims, no malware or phishing, no counterfeits, no passing yourself off as a brand or an authority, and nothing the law or our payment processor forbids. The full list is in section 7 of the Terms.
- A listing removed under that rule loses its money as well as its place. There is no refund, and the total paid on it is forfeited, not carried to another listing. Read it before you bid, not after: it applies to a $50,000 total exactly as it applies to a dollar. This is the condition on which we publish other people's sites at all.
- Report a listing to contact@appexpress.app. Every moderation decision is recorded, and if we got yours wrong, write to the same address and say so.
What a built site is, and is not
- A site at yourname.appexpress.site, where you pick the name and we do not pick it for you. It carries whatever the brief needs: text, prices, hours, a gallery, items you can sell once a Stripe account is connected.
- On yourname.appexpress.site it runs no JavaScript at all. That is deliberate: nothing published on our own domain can execute code. Anything interactive there is a plain form.
- A site that needs code runs on your own domain, never on ours: a booking widget, a member area, a live calendar. Ask for it in the brief and we tell you what it takes before anything is built.
- Images must be uploaded to us. A link to an image hosted anywhere else is dropped.
What your payment includes
- A site built for your business, with as many pages and as much behaviour as the brief calls for. Enquiries through any form on it are not capped.
- Talking to us about your site costs nothing. A change we make for you is a new payment of at least the minimum, and like every payment it adds to your total and your rank.
- Changing it yourself costs nothing. Once your site is live you can edit its words, photos and sections from your space and publish them when you choose. Every published version is kept, and you can go back to any of them.
- A site can take appointments: visitors pick a time from the hours you set, and you and they are both emailed. You can cancel a booking, and the visitor is told.
- Publication at yourname.appexpress.site, or on your own domain. A site that runs its own code is always published on your own domain rather than on a subdomain of ours.
- Selling uses your own Stripe account: you are the merchant, the money lands with you, and AppExpress takes 2% per transaction. We never see your bank details.
After you pay
- The payment is what claims the rank. Payments are not refundable, and asking for work to start immediately is part of accepting the terms.
- You get a private link by email. It opens every site that address owns, and anyone holding it can manage them, so you can set a password from inside and stop relying on the email.
- A person at AppExpress builds your site and checks it before you see it. You are emailed a private link to it, and it goes online on a domain of your own when you publish it: one you buy from your space, or one you already have. After that, edits you make yourself go live when you publish them.
- A custom domain stays in your name. If you leave, you take it with you.
1. What AppExpress sells
Who we are. AppExpress is operated by TaSolution Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (filing ID 2026-002090016), with its principal office at 4008 Laramie Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean TaSolution Group LLC.
AppExpress sells two things, always through a single payment we call a bid:
- A position on the board. Every listing is ranked by the total amount paid for it. Paying more moves you up.
- A website build or update, when your bid includes a brief. The result is published on a subdomain of appexpress.site.
A bid always buys rank. It only buys work when you ask for work.
Who may buy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you are bidding for a company, you confirm you may bind it, and "you" means that company too. You may not use AppExpress if trade sanctions or the law where you are forbid it.
2. How ranking works
- Rank is determined by cumulative amount paid for a listing, not by the size of a single bid.
- Ties lose. When two listings hold the same total, the one that reached it first ranks higher. To pass a listing you must pay strictly more than it has.
- Rank is contested and temporary. Anyone may outbid you at any moment, including immediately after you pay. We make no promise that a rank will last for any period of time.
- The Today board resets daily at midnight UTC.
- Amounts paid are permanent: your total never decreases, so the capabilities unlocked by your total are never withdrawn for non-payment.
3. Payment, refunds and the right of withdrawal
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Currency. You are charged in the currency shown at checkout: US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or Swiss francs. Totals and ranks are kept in US dollars; a payment in another currency is credited at the European Central Bank's euro reference rates published for the day of payment, or, if they cannot be read, at a published fallback rate set below the market. Any fee your bank charges for the currency is between you and your bank.
Bids are final and non-refundable. A bid is spent the moment it is paid: it is immediately applied to the board and, where a brief is included, it releases work.
By checking the consent box at checkout you request that we begin this digital service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period to the extent the law applying to you allows that waiver. Where a mandatory consumer right cannot be waived, we honour it. If you do not wish to waive it, do not complete the purchase; write to us instead.
Initiating a chargeback on a paid bid does not restore the money to the board. Where a chargeback succeeds, we remove the corresponding amount from the listing's total, which lowers or removes its rank, and we may suspend the listing.
4. What a build includes, and what it does not
The entry price is stated on the homepage and changes over time. It buys a working site and the work to get it right, not an unlimited amount of engineering.
A build includes: a site written for your business, the conversation needed to deliver it, publication on a domain you control where you have one, and a contact form. Where the work calls for it the site may run its own code, in which case it is published on your own domain rather than on a subdomain of ours.
A build does not include: unlimited revisions after delivery, work on systems we do not host, native mobile applications, or anything we tell you in writing is out of scope before starting. We decline work rather than accept it and do it badly, and an order declined before any work begins is refunded.
5. Updates
There are no free revisions and no fixed revision count. Each change you request is a new bid, at an amount you choose, and it adds to your total exactly like any other bid. A small change costs a small amount.
We will tell you before starting if a request cannot be delivered within the amount offered. Work already delivered is not undone by a later request.
6. Subdomains and hosting
- You choose your subdomain label, subject to availability. The appexpress.site and appexpress.app domains remain ours; you receive a licence to use your label for as long as your listing is in good standing. Sites are published on appexpress.site; addresses issued earlier on appexpress.app continue to be served.
- Certain labels are reserved (system names) and labels that impersonate a third party, a brand or a public authority are refused or reclaimed.
- You may switch a site between public and unlisted at any time. An unlisted site is excluded from search indexing and from the board, and cannot hold a rank, because rank is public by definition. Unlisted is not private: anyone holding the address can still open the page. We do not currently offer password-protected sites.
- A domain you buy stays yours. We never register or hold a domain on your behalf: you buy it from a registrar in your own name, and we point it at your site and issue its certificate. If you leave, you take it with you and nothing needs our permission.
7. Listing content and removal
The board lists sites, including sites we did not build. Anyone submitting a listing warrants that they are entitled to promote it.
We refuse and remove listings that involve: illegal goods or services; sexual content involving minors or non-consensual material; adult content; malware, phishing or deceptive downloads; counterfeit goods or infringement of someone else's trademark or copyright; financial scams, unlicensed financial services or fraudulent claims; harassment, hate speech or incitement to violence; impersonation of a person, brand or authority; or content prohibited where our payment processor operates.
Removal does not entitle you to a refund. A listing removed under this section forfeits its position and its cumulative total. This is the condition on which we are willing to publish third-party sites at all.
We may also recategorise a listing that is filed under a category it does not belong to. Every moderation decision is recorded. If you believe your listing was removed in error, write to contact@appexpress.app.
Appearing on the board is not an endorsement, review or verification by AppExpress. If you are the owner of a listed site and want it removed, contact us and we will remove it.
7b. Your site, and what visitors send through it
The site is yours and you are responsible for it. That covers what it says, what it sells, and anything a visitor submits through it, such as a form, an upload, a message, an order. We host it; we do not author what your visitors send you.
Where privacy law applies to your visitors, the obligations are yours. Which law that is depends on where your visitors are, not on where either of us is established, and a site reachable from anywhere can reach visitors covered by several at once. Deciding what you collect, why, for how long, and what you tell people about it is yours to decide, because we do not know your business and cannot decide it for you.
What we do with it. Enquiries, bookings and uploads your site receives are stored so that you can read them, and we act on your instructions about them: ask and we delete them, export them, or stop collecting. We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or use them to train anything. When a visitor books a time we email them a confirmation on your behalf, with your address and phone, and nothing else.
Edits you publish yourself are yours in the same way. We keep every published version, are told when you publish one, and may take down a version that breaks these terms exactly as we would any other.
What we may refuse. We can take a site down when it breaks these terms or the law, without notice where the law requires it of us. We would rather write to you first, and will where we can.
If your site collects anything sensitive (health, children's data, identity documents, payment details outside Stripe), tell us before publishing. Some of it we will decline to host, and it is cheaper for both of us to know that beforehand.
8. No guarantee of traffic or results
We display the number of click-throughs a listing receives. We do not guarantee any amount of traffic, visibility, ranking in third-party search engines, conversions, revenue or business outcome. Click counts are measured by us and are provided for information, not as an audited metric.
9. Merchant payments
Where your site accepts payments from your own customers, those payments are processed through Stripe Connect under your own connected account. You are the merchant of record for those transactions: you own the customer relationship, the fulfilment obligation and the refund liability. AppExpress collects a platform fee per transaction, disclosed before you enable payments. We never ask for, and you must never send us, your own payment provider API keys.
We record each order so you can read it: the item, the amount, the buyer's email address and, for anything you have marked as needing to be posted, the delivery address Stripe collects at checkout. That data is yours, not ours. You decide what you do with it and you answer to your buyers for it; we hold it on your behalf, never contact your buyers, and never use their details for anything but showing you your own orders.
10. Intellectual property
- You keep ownership of the content you supply and of the finished page delivered to you.
- AppExpress keeps ownership of its templates, components, tooling and the board itself. A delivered page is licensed to you; the underlying template is not transferred.
- You grant us the right to display your listing's title, description, domain, category and amount paid on the board, and to reference the work as an example of our output.
What you let us do with it. So that we can run the board and publish your site, you give us permission to store, copy, resize, re-encode and publicly display the content of your listing and your site, and the name, description and icon we read from the address you list. It is not exclusive, we pay you nothing for it and you keep owning everything: it only covers what running the service requires, for as long as the listing is up, plus whatever time backups and the public history of the board keep it. Ask us to remove a listing and we will. Removing it does not undo a payment already made.
11. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the ninety days preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
If your listing causes us a problem. If someone brings a claim against us because of what you listed, where it points, what you sold from it or because you broke these terms, you cover us: the claim itself, what it costs us, and reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim, you will help us answer it, and we may choose to handle our own defence.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on this page with a new version date; the version in force is the one you accepted at the time of your bid, except where a change is required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to us goes to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence apply to you whatever else these terms say.
Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to take your payment, publish your listing and deliver your site, and part of what you give us is deliberately public.
What is public
Publishing a listing makes the following visible to anyone: its title, description, domain, category, cumulative amount paid, rank and click count. The amount you have spent is public, which is the entire point of a ranking board. Your email address and your identity are never published.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send receipts, delivery notices and replies.
- Your listing content and, for builds, the brief you write.
- Payment records: amount, currency, status and Stripe identifiers. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Orders placed on a customer's shop, when a customer sells from their site: the item, the amount, and the buyer's email address. For an item that has to be posted, Stripe also collects the buyer's delivery address and we store it on the order so the seller can read it. That order belongs to the seller, who is the merchant: we hold it on their behalf and never use it to contact their buyers.
- Images you upload. Every picture is re-encoded before it is stored, and its metadata is discarded in the process. A photo taken on a phone usually carries the coordinates of the place it was taken; those never reach the published page.
- Aggregated click counts per listing per day. We count clicks; we do not build a profile of who clicked.
- Page view counts for each site, per day: a number, with nothing about who viewed it. Robots and the owner's own previews are left out.
- Bookings made on a customer's site: the visitor's name, email, phone if given, a note if written, the time and the service. Held for the customer who owns the site, as their data (see 7b).
- Descriptions typed for a free preview, offered until 16 October 2026, with the draft written from them. Sent to Anthropic's Claude model to write the draft. Deleted after seven days unless the visitor went on to buy the site.
- Technical logs, including IP address, used for rate limiting, fraud prevention and security alerts.
- Account data if you create one: email and authentication identifiers.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We process this data to perform the contract you entered into, to comply with accounting and tax obligations, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and free of abuse.
Who else processes it
Updated 2 October 2026: Anthropic replaces Google as the provider of the AI that writes and edits sites.
- Stripe: payments and merchant onboarding.
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
- Vercel and Cloudflare: application hosting, subdomain delivery and protection.
- Resend: transactional email.
- Anthropic (Claude): writing a site from the description its owner gives us, the changes a site owner asks the AI to make to their site, and a new site they ask it to write.
- European Central Bank: its published reference rates, which we read to credit payments made in euros, pounds or Swiss francs. Nothing about you is sent.
- DuckDuckGo's icon service: the icon for a listed site, and only when the site itself refuses our request. We ask it for the domain and nothing else, from our server, so your browser never contacts it.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Listings and bids are retained while the listing exists and for the period required by accounting law afterwards. Technical logs are retained for a short operational window. Removed listings keep a moderation record, which is what allows us to justify a removal.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or object to processing, by writing to contact@appexpress.app. Note that deleting your account does not retroactively hide a listing's public history while that listing remains on the board, so ask us to remove the listing as well. If you are in the EU you may also complain to your national supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use a session cookie for signed-in accounts and a browser storage entry that remembers your language and light/dark preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
